What could be the cause of a two year old child's HIV infection, when both parents are normal?

It must be pursued to the end! It must be pursued to the end! It must be pursued to the end!

Event Review

On October 27, 2017, a one-year-old baby was taken to the Women's and Children's Hospital by her parents after she mistakenly got a piece of apple stuck in her throat. Shortly afterward, however, doctors told her that the child had been admitted to the ICU.Thus, the child inexplicably stayed in the ICU for more than a month.

After being discharged from the hospital, the parents realized that the child's health was not very good, so they sent the child to this MCH again. However, the child was again admitted to the ICU, where he underwent various treatments.

The parents were unsure and then sent the child to the Children's Hospital. However, during a blood test at the children's hospital, the child was found to have a positive HIV test. The child was diagnosed with AIDS.

To find out what was going on, the parents had blood picked up in the hospital as well, and the results were normal for both of them. However, with a two-year-old child, sexual transmission, too, is impossible. So it can only be blood transmission of AIDS.

The situation, then, can only be that the child contracted AIDS while being treated at the MCH.

The couple, who had always assumed that the child was young enough to have problems with the tests and that the child had not been in good health, were hospitalized for several months. Until June 2018 when the child developed a persistent low-grade fever. After being sent to the hospital, he was still diagnosed with HIV infection.

This matter is currently being investigated by the National Health Commission. At the same time issued an investigation report. And said that the matter will be further investigated.

Kitagure has something to say.

In any case, the child is innocent.

He should not have to bear so much at such a young age. At the same time, I also hope that the relevant departments will be able to thoroughly investigate this matter, to the child's parents have an explanation.

The main routes of HIV transmission are through body fluids such as blood, milk, semen and other body fluids and direct contact with mucous membranes.

Normal parents means it is not the parents. You can check to see if the infant has recently eaten someone else's lotion, and if there is a history of blood transfusions and if they have been approached by strangers.
