Can Sugar Lovers Eat Cashews?

You can eat it, it's fine in moderation, more is not.

Along with walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds, cashews are one of the world's four largest nuts, which are high in calories and also high in fat and carbohydrates. If a patient with unstable or severe diabetes eats more cashews, it may cause an increase in blood glucose levels, and in severe cases, chronic and acute complications of diabetes.

After eating cashews, you can eat some low glycemic index vegetables such as celery and cucumber in moderation with your regular meals to eat healthy and prevent blood sugar from rising.

That's why diabetics should eat cashews with caution.
