Diabetics can eat figs, but not too many.

Figs, also known as wenxian fruit, milk berries and cryptomeria, are known to strengthen the spleen, nourish and moisturize the intestines. Not only can they be eaten fresh as a fruit, they can also be used in cooking dishes. Pharmacological studies have shown that the main components of figs are polysaccharides, and also contain organic acids, coumarins, volatile oils, flavonoids, triterpenoids, alkaloids, trace elements, enzymes and so on. The polysaccharide of figs is its main pharmacological active ingredient. Studies show that figs have anti-tumor, improve immune function, antioxidant, anti-fatigue and other effects.

Diabetic patients with good glycemic control, i.e., fasting blood glucose control at 7.0 mmol/L or less, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose at 10.0 mmol/L or less, glycated hemoglobin less than 7.5%, you can eat some figs moderately between meals, but need to replace some of the staple food; diabetic patients with substandard blood glucose, do not consume for the time being, and can eat a small amount of raw cucumber and raw tomatoes.
