The first impression one gets from seeing this data is that AIDS is very scary and infectious, and thus many people are "scared of talking about AIDS".

Relevant studies have found that the epidemic of AIDS in China is characterized by a rapid rate of transmission, according to expert projections, if the control is not appropriate, China's HIV-infected people will be 30% per year rate of increase, in which case the base of HIV-infected people will be very large, due to the increasing mobility of the population, the spread of AIDS in a wide range of geographic areas, the types of HIV more than the type of HIV, China is one of the largest types of HIV in the world. China is one of the countries with the largest number of HIV types in the world. Since there are still undiscovered HIV infections in real life, the AIDS epidemic in China brings with it many social problems that deserve our attention. HIV likewise poses a serious threat to our national security. If society as a whole can elevate the prevention and treatment of AIDS to the level of national security, pay attention to it and put it into action, the goals and tasks of the 13th Five-Year Plan of Action for Containing and Preventing AIDS will be accomplished as soon as possible.

The blood, semen, vaginal secretions, breast milk and wound exudate of HIV-infected persons and patients contain a large amount of HIV, which is highly contagious. At present, sexual contact is the most important way of transmission of AIDS. HIV can be transmitted between men and women and among people of the same sex through sexual intercourse (vaginal, oral, anal). The more sexual partners you have, the greater the risk of contracting AIDS. At present, sexual transmission, mother-to-child transmission and injecting drug use (blood) transmission coexist in our country, with sexual transmission being the mainstay, and it remains at a low prevalence level.

The most effective means of prevention is to protect yourself. In particular, there are a few core HIV prevention points that must be kept in mind:

:: Activities such as prostitution, patronizing prostitutes and drug use are important risk behaviors for the spread of AIDS.
:: Sexually free lifestyles, multiple partners and unprotected sex can greatly increase the risk of contracting and transmitting HIV and STDs.
:: Establishing healthy concepts of love, marriage, family and sexuality is the ultimate solution to preventing and controlling the spread of AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
:: Sexual transmission of HIV/AIDS can be effectively prevented by consistent and correct use of condoms every time.

Summarize: With the current prevention and control efforts continue to increase, the contagiousness of AIDS is also decreasing. But we should have a clear understanding of the current AIDS epidemic in our hearts, not only concerned about the contagiousness of AIDS, but more importantly, to learn to prevent the spread of the disease, even if the probability of you being infected is very low, once infected will also become 100 percent.
