The condition of the five organs can be known by observing the five fluids. The Yellow Emperor's Inner Canon states:The five viscera transform into fluids: the heart transforms into sweat, the lungs transform into nasal discharge, the liver transforms into tears, the spleen transforms into saliva, and the kidneys transform into spittle. These are known as the five fluids. It means that the five viscera generate body fluids, and different body fluids can reflect the functional prosperity or decline of the five viscera.

1. Liver weakness causing tearing
The liver opens into the eyes and stores blood. The eyes receive blood and thus can see. People with insufficient liver blood may experience dry eyes, photophobia, tearing in the wind, and numbness in the hands and feet. In such cases, Qiju Dihuang Pills can be used to nourish liver blood.
2. Weak Kidneys Causing Salivation
If kidney qi is strong, the fluid in the kidneys will ascend to nourish the mouth. If kidney qi is deficient, symptoms such as dry mouth, soreness and weakness in the lower back and knees, and general fatigue may occur. In such cases, nourishing the liver and kidneys can be considered for regulation.
3. Heart Weakness and Sweating
Sweat is the fluid of the heart. If one sweats easily with slight movement, accompanied by palpitations, frequent dreams, easy awakening, and a cold sensation in the back, this indicates a deficiency of heart qi or heart yang. In such cases, Baizi Yangxin Wan can be used to replenish qi, nourish blood, and calm the mind.

4. Spleen Deficiency Leading to Drooling
The spleen corresponds to saliva in terms of fluids. If one frequently drools during sleep at night and is accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal distension, poor appetite, bad breath, and a thick, greasy tongue coating, it is often caused by food stagnation and impaired transportation and transformation by the spleen and stomach. In such cases, Jianpi Pills or Baohe Pills can be used to strengthen the spleen and resolve stagnation.
5. Weak Lungs with Runny Nose
The lung opens into the nose. When the lung functions normally, nasal mucus can nourish the nasal cavity and keep the nasal passages clear. If wind-cold invades the lung, symptoms such as clear nasal discharge and nasal congestion may occur. Tongxuan Lifei Wan can be selected to disperse lung qi, resolve phlegm, release the exterior, and dispel cold.
Finally, a reminder to everyone: Always exercise caution when using medication. It is recommended to seek guidance from a professional physician for syndrome differentiation and targeted treatment.
